The "Acids" set of Lutz drum pumps are specially designed for use with thin-bodied acids. Specifically, these are ideal for use with citric acid, chromic acid, hydrochloric acid, ferric (III) chloride, phosphoric acid, battery acid, and the like.

Two types of motors are offered for use: the externally ventilated Motor MA II 3. and the internally ventilated Motor MI 4. Pumps that use the MA II 3 are powered at 460 W, and have delivery rates up to 75 liters per minute. On the other hands, units powered by the MI 4 have power outputs of 500 W, with delivery rates at 85 liters per minute.

Models in the series come in immersion lengths of either 1,000 or 1,200 mm.
